What kind of investment shall we do?

It’s been a while since I last wrote here! I wanted to share my investment journey. Unfortunately, the war has affected my US stock performance, so I’ve shifted my focus to investing in funds. SA With an annual interest rate of 4%, my GE insurance agent recommended buying on 11/3/ 2026. I invested 50,000, and I just checked the amount, and it’s now 53,322! That’s a surprise 6% increase in just two months. So, I’m planning to start investing a bit more, haha!

... Read moreNavigating the investment world can be challenging, especially during uncertain global situations like war that impact stock markets. From my experience, diversifying into insurance-linked funds with steady interest rates can provide a valuable safety net. For example, the fund investment I made through my GE insurance agent, based on a recommended premium payment method, offered a 4% annual interest rate, resulting in a surprising 6% returns over just two months – as reflected in my fund value increase from SGD 50,000 to SGD 53,322. This highlights the advantage of considering not only traditional stock investments but also insurance-protected funds, which combine protection and growth potentials. Consistent monitoring of fund values and timely reinvestments can enhance portfolio performance. Using platforms like Singpass for managing and reviewing funds also simplifies the process, making investment tracking more transparent and efficient. If you're contemplating where to put your money in these volatile times, I recommend exploring similar funds with your insurance agent or financial advisor. They can tailor investment strategies to your financial goals and risk appetite. Starting with a modest amount allows you to gauge fund performance without overcommitting, building confidence as your funds grow steadily. This approach helped me regain positive returns after facing setbacks in US stock investments, and it might do the same for you.
