* Synopsis *
10 years ago, a young man, Kurihara, who spent his days struggling with job hunting, knows an inexplicable fact. His grandmother died in a suspicious manner with a strange old map. The map depicts seven monsters, a small village, and the back of a girl. In order to find out the identity of the map and the truth of his grandmother's death, Kurihara temporarily interrupts his job hunting and goes on a journey. There are a number of "mysteries" waiting for him. The more you proceed with the investigation, the more eerie the past comes into view. And the incident of personal injury that happened to occur triggered the sudden development of the situation. Horror ・ Mystery ・ Adventure ・ Youth. The culmination of the "strange" series packed with all elements. All "mysteries" are connected to one.

I was a fan of the strange series and knew that a new work came out, so I had to buy this! I thought. I was excited to read what kind of story it was because Mr. Kurihara played the leading role this time, but there was a mystery that did not disappoint and it was very interesting. Please read it!
『変な地図』の魅力は、ただのホラーやミステリーに終わらず、青春や冒険といった多様な要素が巧みに織り込まれているところにあります。私もこのシリーズを追いかけてきましたが、今回の栗原を主人公に据えた新作は、過去の謎が徐々に解き明かされていく過程で緊張感が高まり、物語に引き込まれました。 特に話題となっているのが、「7体の妖怪」と「古地図」というキーワードです。これらは本作のミステリアスな世界観を支える重要な要素であり、古地図に隠された謎の解明が物語の中心となっています。読んでいると、地図に描かれた小さな集落や少女の後ろ姿が何を意味するのか、自分も一緒に推理しているよう な気分になれるのが面白いです。 また筆者が描く不気味な過去の描写や、偶然の人身事故から物語が急展開する点も読み応えがあります。実際に私も読んでいて、展開が読めずドキドキしました。ホラー・ミステリー好きだけでなく、青春ストーリーや冒険譚が好きな方にもおすすめできる作品です。 この作品を読むことで、単なる謎解きだけでなく登場人物それぞれの人間ドラマにも共感でき、物語の奥深さを感じられました。私の読書時間の中でも特に充実した時間となっています。ぜひ一度手に取って、栗原と一緒に「変な地図」の謎に挑戦してみてください！
