STYLE #1 : Tape-Ins 💆🏾♀️
I was a little bit nervous about getting tape-ins after going down the never ending clips of horror stories on TikTok, BUT @avibecalledhairthe_salon MADE ME A BELIEVER! Gail educated me on proper maintenance and some essential “do’s and don’t’s” when caring for tape-ins.
DO ✅:
• Use heatless curlers to preserve the style and cover with a scarf or bonnet
• Maximize on the versatility of tape-ins, it can be worn in different styles without revealing the extensions
• Be gentle and use gentle products (sulfate-free, silicone free, nothing oily)
DO NOT 🚫:
• Don’t apply oil based products near the tape, the adhesive won’t hold
• Don’t get your hair wet!! In my case, Gail will be maintaining this style every other week, so I don’t have to worry about this
• TRY NOT TO EXCESSIVELY SWEAT. You may need to put your Class Pass on pause and do some low intensity workouts at the crib 😂
