Why I’m skipping my annual 21-day fast this year.

For years, January 1st meant the Daniel Fast & Goal Creation. But I realized it became routine, not revelation or neuroplasticity. When you do something out of routine, it loses its power to create deep, functional change🧠

This year, I’m choosing to SLOWDOWN as a start to my new year. Research in Psychological Science suggests that 'mental simulating' success (like vision boarding) without the groundwork of process-planning can actually decrease motivation and lead to a 40% lower goal attainment rate‼️ **Link in bio for FREE channel where I provide the full Slowdown agenda** ✨

👉We are so quick to build vision boards for what we want to see, but we neglect the mental clarity required to be the person who can handle it‼️

The image features a glass of oatmeal with berries and nuts, an apple, and a bowl of brown sugar. Overlay text states, 'Why skipping breakfast is your fast track to fatigue, bloating & brain fog (How to start your morning right, from a Doctor of Chinese Medicine).' The bottom includes 'lemon8 @healwithcielito' and 'laviyra' logos.

The image shows a glass of oatmeal with berries and nuts, an apple, and a bowl of brown sugar. Overlay text highlights, 'You keep hearing "breakfast is the most important meal of the day" In Chinese Medicine this couldn't be more true!' It also states, 'Stomach Qi peaks from 7-9 am. Meaning this is when your stomach function is the strongest,' pointing to a TCM organ clock diagram.

The image displays a glass of oatmeal with berries and nuts, an apple, and a bowl of brown sugar. Overlay text explains that skipping breakfast ignores the body's prime time for nourishment, leading to stagnant Stomach Qi, the Spleen having nothing to work with, and the body pulling energy from reserves, causing sluggishness and Qi deficiency.

Skipping breakfast? You’re asking for problems 👀

Skipping breakfast isn't a "healthy habit." It's a fast track to fatigue, bloating, mood dips, and a sluggish digestion 🫠 According to TCM, your Stomach + Spleen are designed to receive nourishment in the morning. When you skip food during their peak hours, your body has noth
