As you may not know, I am a comfort show/movie type of gal... I love going back to a movie or a show where I know the whole sha-bang and can NEVER get tired of watching these over and over again any movie or show I have fallen in love with to the point where my eyes and my focus is only glued to the TV will always have my heart.
I picked some of these shows/movies for the girls. As you can see most of these shows/movies I have watched or are in the middle of. But, I think as women some of us love watching something we can relate to or just genuinely enjoy no matter how sad, dramatic, cheesy, dumb, funny or romantic it is and these shows and movies where each have some of that. I picked ones that’ll give you a good laugh or just simply enjoy the cheesiness and drama of it all, shows and movies that will have your boyfriend/husband looking at you like ‘WTF are you even watching?’ lol…

... Read moreIt’s so true, sometimes all you need is that perfect comfort movie or show to unwind, especially after a long day. If you’re anything like me, navigating the endless options on your Netflix home screen can feel a bit overwhelming, right? But finding those truly special 'girlhood movies on Netflix' or a 'comfort movie' that just hits the spot doesn't have to be a scavenger hunt!
Beyond the fantastic list I shared, I've got a few tricks up my sleeve for when I’m looking for something new, or just want to dive deeper into those 'girly things to watch on Netflix.' First, don't underestimate the power of the search bar! Instead of just browsing the generic 'Netflix movie categories screen' or 'netflix home screen categories,' try typing in specific moods or themes. Think 'Feel-Good Romantic Comedies,' 'Strong Female Leads,' or even 'Coming-of-Age Dramas.' Netflix's algorithm is pretty smart, and it often pulls up hidden gems you might not see on your main 'netflix home screen movies' feed.
Another great tip is to pay attention to the 'Because You Watched...' recommendations. If you loved a show like 'Insecure' or 'Jane The Virgin' (both fantastic picks, by the way!), Netflix will suggest similar titles. This is a surefire way to expand your watchlist with content that aligns with your taste. And for those times when you just want to see what everyone else is loving, check out the 'Top 10 in [Your Country]' section; it's often a treasure trove of popular 'netflix app home screen movies series' that could become your next obsession.
Now, let’s talk about creating that ultimate 'watching Netflix aesthetic.' It's not just about the show, it's about the entire vibe! For me, a perfect setup includes dimming the lights – maybe even just a cozy lamp – grabbing my favorite fluffy blanket, and a giant mug of tea or a sweet treat. Sometimes, I’ll even put my phone away completely to fully immerse myself. There’s something so therapeutic about having your 'fotos de tv com netflix no quarto escuro' moment, just you and a captivating story. Whether it’s the witty banter in 'Never Have I Ever' or the heartfelt moments in 'Someone Great,' these stories become even more impactful when you're truly relaxed and focused.
These aren't just shows; they're experiences. They offer laughs, tears, and moments of genuine connection. They remind us of our own friendships, our own struggles, and our own triumphs. So next time you're scrolling, remember these tips, and happy binge-watching!
