🍋✨ Monthly Surprise Book - Romance Edition 📕

Happy Medium Books Cafe is my cozy go to reading spot ☕️ the owner is always there greeting guests, and pouring love into the community. Check out their website to see the book clubs and events they offer!

Lately, I’ve been into their surprise books - it’s wrapped in a package with a subtle book description on the front and you don’t know what you’re getting until you open it up!

Today, I noticed they offer a monthly surprise book subscription - romance edition, and decided to try it out!

The package contained a front list, a newly released romance novel, a gift/treat, bookmark, sticker, and there’s a coordinating playlist for the novel.

The romance book for May is “A Duke Never Tells” by Suzanne Enoch.

Brief summary from reading the back: An heiress disguises herself as a maid in her fiancés household to see if he really is a scoundrel as the gossip claims. (JUICY!)

The gift it came with is a handkerchief, the bookmark and sticker are so cute, too!

I’ll be sure to post a book review - apparently the author is recommended by Julia Quinn 🫶🏽
