Monthly Book Challenge: May Edition

May Goal: finish Brisingr

May Outcome: finished Brisingr and Out of the Gate (Gold Rush Ranch novella)!!

Brisingr took me a really long time to finish and I think that’s because I struggled to get into it at first. However, I sped through the last like 250-300 pages and definitely bawled at the end… 😭 Good book, Paolini is just a bit long winded and quite descriptive.

Out of the Gate was a super quick little intermission for me as I just needed a small break from the Inheritance Cycle series. I loved the rest of the books in the Gold Rush Ranch series but this one just seemed rushed. I guess that’s what you get with a 107 page novella. Love all of Elise Silver’s work though, highly recommend her books!

Up next: Inheritance

June Goals: finish Inheritance

I already have a little bit of a head start on Inheritance for June, made it to page 50 before May was over 😂 wish me luck as I finish the other 800 pages 😂😭
