Sometimes All I Think About Is You

2025/8/10 Edited to

... Read moreOkay, who else is in the depths of a serious book hangover after diving into Rebecca Yarros's incredible world? I swear, sometimes all I think about is Fourth Wing and *Onyx Storm*. It's that bittersweet feeling when you finish a series you love so much, and suddenly your life feels a little empty without Xaden, Violet, and all the dragons. I'm literally just pacing around, wishing I could go back to Basgiath War College! If you're searching for more content to ease that ache, you've found a fellow fan. What makes these books so utterly addictive, right? For me, it's the perfect blend of high-stakes fantasy, intense romance, and characters you can't help but root for (or sometimes yell at, let's be real!). The world-building is just immaculate, from the dangerous skies filled with dragons to the treacherous cadet trials. Remember those heart-pounding scenes where Violet had to climb those impossible obstacles, pushing her limits and testing every ounce of her cadet's ability? The OCR even vividly describes those moments of her using her upper-body strength to pull herself up, scrambling on her hands and knees, or grabbing a rope – it's so visceral! And let's not forget how she brilliantly used her wit, and even a well-placed dagger, to navigate perilous situations that would make anyone else falter. Those moments are etched in my brain! The lore, the political intrigue, the unbreakable bond between riders and dragons – it all just pulls you in and doesn’t let go. I keep replaying moments in my head, like the thrilling flight scenes over the cliffs or the unexpected twists that left me absolutely gasping. It’s not just a story; it’s an entire experience that captivates your imagination from the first page. And now that it's over (for now!), it feels like saying goodbye to dear friends, leaving a void that’s hard to fill. So, how do we cope with this epic book hangover? My go-to is usually diving into fan theories online – seriously, some of you out there are geniuses with your predictions for the next book! Or, I might revisit my favorite chapters, just to get a little taste of that magic again and experience the rush of those battle scenes or tender moments. Finding fan art helps me visualize the characters and their world even more vividly, especially the majestic dragons and the intricate details of the academy. And of course, talking about it with fellow fans is always the best therapy. Sharing our thoughts, our favorite quotes, or even our frustrations about cliffhangers really helps. What other fantasy books have helped you get through a Fourth Wing or Onyx Storm book hangover? I'm always looking for recommendations to fill the void and keep the fantasy spirit alive until the next installment drops!

The image features the title "HOW TO GET OUT OF A SLUMP" in red text. It shows a hand holding a smartphone with a blank screen and a bed with clothes on it, all against a light pink background with red accents.
This image defines a "slump" as having no motivation despite tasks, listing symptoms like excessive phone usage, inability to get out of bed, feeling groggy, and being unable to complete tasks. It asks "so.. how do we get out of it?" with a swipe prompt.
The image presents five tactics to overcome a slump: the 5-second rule, the 5-minutes rule, using past mistreatment as motivation, romanticizing small tasks, and watching motivational videos. It notes these are personal tips, not guaranteed fixes.
