Tips for Toddler Language Development

Our son just turned 12 months old and his language development is already so great!

He knows how to sign 5 different words, can nod or shake his head, attempts to say a handful of words, and can definitely understand when we ask him questions or give him a simple instruction to follow!

Here is what we do to help his language development:

-Teach baby sign language starting around 10 months old

-Talk to him in our normal voice (no baby talk)

-Listen and sing a lot of songs

-Read books
