Located inside the Chao Phraya Chao Chao Chao Chao Bhubesaw Hospital, it was built in 1909 by Chao Phraya Chao Chao Chao Bhubesaw, who hired Howard Erskine Limited, characterized by a mustard-yellow building and Baroque architecture. One of the charms of the Chao Phraya Chao Chao Chao Chao Chao Chao is the architectural detail and exquisite artwork hidden in every corner of the building, not just the large structure, but also the small elements that convey taste, meticulousness, and Western art influences mixed with local identities.
We can see the influence of European art through rosette pattern fresco painting and grape vine patterns or marigold floor tiles, scout arm badges, island curtains with scout curl patterns that may reflect the values or uses of the building over time.
There are also foreign decorations such as cast iron gutters, from Glasgow, Scotland, and special materials such as lute strings cast iron window bolts and antique brass bolts; copper domes atop buildings which serve to protect the building from lightning; wind channels / stenciled light channels that are architecturally useful in ventilation; and also provide spectacular gloss light inside the building itself.
The building is now listed as a historic site and has been adapted as the Bhubesaw Pardon Thai Medicine Museum to gather knowledge of traditional Thai medicine and ancient herbs. It has a room that showcases ancient medicine texts, ancient Thai medicine instruments and prototype herbal products from the Ten Thousand Savvy Patya and Bhubesaw Pardon Foundation.

# Chao Phraya Pardon Bhubesaw Building
ถ้าใครเสิร์ชหา “ตึกเจ้าพระยาอภัยภูเบศร” หรือ “ตึกอภัยภูเบศร” แล้วลังเลว่าควรไปไหม บอกเลยว่าคุ้มมาก เพราะที่นี่ไม่ได้เป็นแค่ตึกสวย ๆ แต่เป็นพิพิธภัณฑ์การแพทย์แผนไทยอภัยภูเบศรที่เดินเพลิน ได้ทั้งประวัติศาสตร์ สถาปัตยกรรม และเรื่องสมุนไพรในทริปเดียว ทริคของผมคือไปช่วงเช้า ๆ แสงจะนุ่ม ถ่ายด้านหน้าตึกสีเหลืองมัสตาร์ดออกมาสวยมาก เห็นโดมทองแดงเด่น ๆ และมักจะมีน้ำพุอยู่ด้านหน้าให้จัดองค์ประกอบรูปได้ง่าย แนะนำลองถ่ายทั้งมุมตรงให้เห็นซุ้มโค้งและลวดลายปูนปั้นสีขาว แล้วค่อยเดินอ้อมไปด้านข้าง จะเห็นรายละเอียดปูนปั้นเหนือหน้าต่างชัดขึ้น (ยิ่งมองยิ่งรู้สึกว่าทำละเอียดจริง) พอเข้าด้านใน จะชอบโถงทางเดินที่ปูกระเบื้องลายโบราณกับประตูโค้ง ๆ มาก บรรยากาศคลาสสิกแบบเดินแล้วรู้สึกเหมือนย้อนเวลา และยังมีประตูไม้บานใหญ่แกะสลักที่เป็นจุดถ่ายรูปยอดนิยม—ถ้าคนไม่เยอะลองยืนถ่ายเฟรมประตูซ้อน ๆ จะได้ภาพมีมิติสุด ๆ อีกอย่างที่ผมสังเกตคือหน้าต่างโค้งและช่องแสงช่วยให้แสงเงาด้านในสวย ถ่ายรูปออกมาโทนวินเทจแบบไม่ต้องแต่งเยอะ ส่วนโซนจัดแสดง ถ้าชอบแนวพิพิธภัณฑ์อยากให้เผื่อเวลาเดินอ่านป้ายด้วย โดยเฉพาะห้องที่มี “ตำรายาโบราณ” และเครื่องมือแพทย์แผนไทยในตู้กระจก (บางจุดจะมีป้ายห้องตำรา) เดินดูแล้วทำให้เข้าใจว่าที่นี่ไม่ใช่แค่แลนด์มาร์กถ่ายรูป แต่เป็นที่รวบรวมความรู้จริง ๆ เกี่ยวกับแพทย์แผนไทยและสมุนไพร คำแนะนำเล็ก ๆ ก่อนมา: ใส่รองเท้าที่เดินสบาย เพราะอยากให้เดินช้า ๆ เก็บรายละเอียดตามผนัง หน้าต่าง และลายกระเบื้องให้ครบ ถ้ามาเป็นครอบครัวหรือพาผู้ใหญ่ไปด้วย แบ่งเป็น 2 ช่วงคือ “ถ่ายรูปด้านนอก” แล้วค่อย “เดินพิพิธภัณฑ์ด้านใน” จะไม่เหนื่อยเกินไป ข้อมูลสถานที่แบบสรุป: ตึกเจ้าพระยาอภัยภูเบศรอยู่ในโรงพยาบาลเจ้าพระยาอภัยภูเบศร จ.ปราจีนบุรี พิพิธภัณฑ์เปิดทุกวันประมาณ 8.30–16.00 น. และไม่เสียค่าเข้าชม ใครกำลังหาที่เที่ยวปราจีนแนวตึกโบราณ + ได้ความรู้ แนะนำให้ปักหมุดที่นี่ไว้เลย
