The Thainosaur Museum, a natural history museum that collects dinosaurs and primitive animals of Thailand, takes viewers back in time to understand the world through three major eras: the Triassic Period, the beginning of dinosaurs, the Jurassic Period, the heyday of large dinosaurs, and the Cretaceous Period, the most common dinosaur fossils in Thailand. The placement of the exhibition route allows for the continuous and systematic development of organisms and ecosystems.
Inside the museum is a complete display of all the species of Thai dinosaurs that have ever been discovered, with real fossils verified by paleontologists and a life-size dinosaur model based on the latest academic data. A key highlight is the simulation of a massive sauropod skeleton, nearly 30 meters long, recognized as the largest dinosaur ever discovered in Thailand and the largest in Southeast Asia.
The exhibition also reflects the paleoanthropological fact that Thailand was once a rich land with a variety of dinosaur species, both herbivorous and carnivorous dinosaurs, such as Phuviangosaurus, Sirindrane, a large long-necked dinosaur that symbolized the Thai dinosaurs, Siamotiranus, Esanensis, an ancient predator in the neighboring group Tyrannosaurus, Siamozorus, Suthi Gei, a fish-eating dinosaur in the Spinozor group, Siamraptor Suvaat, a large predator discovered in recent years, including Miriamus, Khon Kaen Ensis, and another primitive animal, the daily Thelandicus, a large ancient crocodile.
In addition to scientific content, the Thainosaur Museum also designs contemporary viewing experiences through light, color, sound, animation and interactive activities, making learning not limited to reading, but through direct experience.
