During our recent trip to Ho Chi Minh City, my family and I decided to try the highly-rated The Lime Spa near Ben Thanh Market. Booking was straightforward—we made a reservation the day before, though note that a deposit is required, and payments are cash-only. Be sure to carry extra cash for all the pampering, food, and shopping in the area!

The Experience

We opted for the Balancing Head Spa (70 minutes for SGD$34.60. The session began with a questionnaire to tailor the experience to our preferences.

We were then guided upstairs to lockers for our belongings and provided with a change of clothes. The treatment kicked off with a soothing facial cleanse and mask—although a nice touch, it felt fairly basic and perhaps not worth the added cost if you're just here for the hair spa.

Next came an eye heat patch, followed by the star of the show: the scalp treatment. The therapist’s skilled hands worked magic with a relaxing scalp massage, and I dozed off—it was that comfortable! I briefly woke up during the shampooing stage, which included a fantastic neck and shoulder massage. The water fountain afterward was a luxurious touch, replicating the feel of a refreshing rain shower.

To wrap up, my hair was dried, and I was treated to a cool and refreshing lime drink!

The hair spa was worth it! The thoroughness, comfort, and attention to detail made it a standout experience, especially for the price. If you're looking for something slightly more affordable, the Relaxing Head Spa (70 minutes for $29.40 SGD) is another great option.

Tips: Bring enough cash, and if you're prioritizing hair care, consider skipping the facial.
