“The Restoration Era”

These last two weeks have been a wake-up call for me — mentally, physically, and spiritually.

A reminder that no matter how strong we are, our bodies, minds, and spirits all have limits.

I’ve been praying for longevity — to live long enough to see my grandkids’ kids, to stay healthy in mind and spirit, and to walk in purpose for years to come. But I’ve also realized something…

Faith without works is dead. (James 2:26)

I can pray for healing, but I also have to participate in it.

I can ask God for strength, but I also have to rest.

I can believe for miracles, but I also have to take care of the vessel He gave me.

My body has been reminding me that it’s time to slow down and do the work — not just for the business, not just for the people I love, but for me.

After meeting with my specialists — my cardiologist, gynecologist, and gastroenterologist — I had to face what I’ve been running from:

I’m not just stressed. I’m burnt out.

It took an intervention from them — procedures that now have to take place, and preventative medications that must be taken — for me to truly see and understand that stress is a silent killer.

When you ignore your body’s whispers, it will eventually scream.

You have to keep yourself full — spiritually, mentally, and physically — because you can’t pour from what’s empty.

Stress is what happens when life keeps adding pressure.

Burnout is what happens when you no longer have the strength to carry it.

My body has been in overdrive for too long — mentally, emotionally, and physically.

I’ve learned that stress, burnout, and anxiety aren’t just in your head… they show up in your body.

Hormonal imbalances. Digestive issues. Fatigue. Brain fog.

All warning signs that my body was waving for years.

This isn’t about pity — it’s about awareness.

I’m sharing this because someone out there is where I am — still pushing, still overextending, still telling themselves they’re “fine.”

Listen before your body has to scream.

where I’m keeping God first and myself second,

protecting my peace like it’s medicine,

and choosing myself like it’s survival.

I’m committed to doing my part… and letting God handle the rest —

and coming back stronger and better than ever:

mentally, physically, emotionally, spiritually, and intellectually.
