personally, i feel that the price point is pretty standard for the food. don’t get me wrong, food there is great but if i had another occasion to celebrate, i would have opt for another restaurant instead of coming back again.
🦑 Deep Fried Baby Squid & Prawn - $32
- Squid was quite soft and batter was nice, wished they gave more prawns instead of just 2 pieces of prawns for the price point!
🧀 Burrata Cheese & Parma Ham - $24
- Ham was slightly salty, but the creaminess of the cheese goes well with it, personally feel that it may get jelak easily, would only be good to order if you’re sharing with more people!
🍝 Crab Linguine Pasta - $28
- Pasta was al dente, decent amount of crab meat, overall a decent plate of pasta!
🍖 Baked Pork Belly with Rosemary - $29
- My favourite dish of all! One of the most crispy pork belly I ever had, it was well seasoned and super duper crispy!
✨ Staff & Ambience
- Staff was really attentive and noticed that we were here for a celebration, she gave us a complimentary cake even after we paid for the meal! 💯
- Not the best place to visit for photos as the overall ambience and lighting of the restaurant is pretty dim and dark!
... Read moreIf you're planning a visit to Limoncello Restaurant, here's a little more insight that could help you decide whether it’s the right spot for you. Many reviewers ask about the dress code—fortunately, Limoncello maintains a smart-casual vibe, so you can dress comfortably yet stylishly without worry.
When it comes to reservations, it’s a good idea to book ahead, especially on weekends or special occasions, as it tends to fill up quickly with people seeking a cozy Italian dining experience. Though the atmosphere is intimate, the dim lighting isn’t great for photos, so if you’re a social media enthusiast wanting that perfect shot, you might want to bring your phone’s night mode.
I’d also add that while the menu covers classic Italian favorites, the portions and price point suggest this is more of a treat spot than a regular dine-out place. For those curious about the pizza options, they have decent reviews but can be hit-or-miss depending on your taste buds.
Finally, staff at Limoncello are attentive and welcoming. During my visit, the team’s thoughtful gesture of a complimentary cake for our celebration went a long way in making the experience memorable. In short, if you’re after authentic flavors with polished service for a special night, Limoncello can deliver—but you might want to explore other Italian restaurants for better value or brighter ambiance on your next visit.
