Bangkok Safari World Guide!🦒

A must-go in Bangkok‼️ Asia’s largest wildlife park Bangkok Safari World 🦒🦓🐯🦁🐒

✨✨✨A full guide of useful information, so that you can have close contact with cute animals & with super peace of mind!❤️

💰I bought it on Klook for $80SGD (2 pax including Safari Zone Coach Service).

Be sure to buy in advance! You can only buy original price tickets on the day! (Be sure to check clearly when buying two joint tickets - Marine Park & Safari Park)

🚕🚗Because the zoo is really far away from downtown Bangkok and there is no direct public transportation, so it is recommended that you book a chartered car in advance or take Bolt or Grab (around 330 baht).

⚠️The park will open and check bags at the entrance and no water or food is allowed to be brought in.

🕑 Opening hours

• Monday to Friday: 9:00-17:00

• Weekends: 9:00-18:00

🦒 Safari Park is divided into two parts: driving area and bus area!

• The scenic sightseeing bus costs 80 baht/person. • You can also drive in by yourself.

-Personal opinion-

I think the scenic sightseeing bus is enough. It is very slow and takes about 30 minutes. It is about as fast as the bus chartered by others.

We went took the bus in the morning. As the animals will go to bed in the afternoon and you may be able to see feedings and other things in the morning.

📷Photo-taking with animals.

• Orangutans - One big one or two small ones are 300 baht. 🦧

• Photos of owls and parrots of various colors are 200 baht. 🦅

• Little Tiger cub feeding at 450 baht.🐯🍼

• Giraffe feeding is 100 baht.🦒

• There are also some small animals that are fed 100 baht.

There are hundreds of species of marine aquatic life in Ocean Park, and the performance venue arranges interesting performances of various animals every day: 🐘🦍🐬

✔️Orangutan performance (10:00)

✔️Elephant show (11:00)

✔️Sky War performance (11:45)

✔️Dolphin show(13:30)

✔️Sea lion show(14:15)

✔️Western Cowboy Show(15:15)

✔️Bird show(16:15)

In addition, there are water skiing performances, Thai folk dances, Papua New Guinea folk dances and other performances. It is recommended to pick up the map and day's performance schedule at the ticket office.

... Read moreIf you're considering a visit to Safari World in Bangkok, planning your transportation ahead is key for a smooth experience. Since the park is located quite far from downtown and lacks direct public transit options, I recommend booking a private car or using ride-hailing services like Grab or Bolt, which typically cost around 330 baht. This ensures you won’t waste time figuring out routes on the spot and can focus on enjoying your visit. For families traveling with children, Safari World offers a delightful variety of close-up animal interactions. Feeding the gentle giraffes or watching the orangutan show are highlights that children often rave about. I found the scenic bus tour inside the safari park a relaxing way to see wild animals comfortably and safely—it moves slowly enough to catch great photos and observe behaviors without feeling rushed. When planning your day, try to arrive in the morning to catch the exciting animal feedings and performances. The orangutan Muay Thai show at 10:00 AM and the elephant show at 11:00 AM were particularly entertaining and engaging. Don’t forget to grab the daily performance schedule upon entry—it helps to organize your time so you don’t miss the dolphin, sea lion, or cowboy stunt shows that add unique flair to the visit. One useful tip: ensure you purchase your tickets in advance, especially if you want combo tickets including both Safari and Marine Parks. Buying online through platforms like Klook can save you money and avoid long lines, especially on weekends. Note that food and drinks are prohibited inside the park, so plan your meals accordingly. Finally, aside from the wildlife and performances, the park offers cultural highlights such as Thai folk dances and Papua New Guinea traditional shows which provide a fun, educational cultural experience. Overall, with a bit of preparation, your trip to Bangkok Safari World can be a memorable adventure full of fascinating wildlife encounters and entertaining performances.
