The same weekend that the Taylor Swift concert movie thing...whatever it was came out. That's when we went to see this movie. There were 'swfties' and glitter everywhere. And here my parents and I are just wanting to see this heart wrenching movie. We even got out picture taken together in front of the big sparkly back drop for the Taylor Swift showing with our Hunger Games tickets 😂.
We didn't love this one quite as much as the original series, but it was the tradition my dad and I made together. We made sure our schedules were open to see it together and that means the world to me.
I am looking forward to Haymitch's story formed into a movie. I will bring my dad, my big bag of smuggled chips, my emotions ready to shatter, and my huge box of tissues. I will be prepared! ✊🏻 (But I have to get the audiobook for my dad to listen to first 😅)
