ATTN🚨 : My Natural Deodorant Girlies 👀
When I say I was NERVOUS even thinking about natural deodorant. Would I smell? , would it last long? , how does it feel? all of the things!
Growing up in a Caribbean home I’ve always use lime to detox my pits every now and then ( thanks grandma)!
So, when I switched I decided detox first and did so for about a month.
My main reason for the switch was to lighten my armpits and it did just that! Girllllll! I’m glad I took pictures because I thought I was bugging.
If you’re thinking of switching to natural deodorant, I recommend Saltair! @Saltair ( not sponsored just love the brand and products)
⭐️The Stick Overall rating: 10/10: First product I used and still LOVE! Smells amazing, lighten/soften armpits & last LONG!
⭐️Roll On Overall rating: 6 /10: I feel like is was to stronger for me. It burned me and darkened my pits again from the burn. So I had to recover.
⭐️Body Wash Overall rating: 4/10: Need more lather and moisture.
⭐️Body Lotion Overall rating: 8/10: Absorption is A1. Moisturizes the skin and smells amazing. I wish there was more product.
What’s your favorite brand of natural deodorant?
When I first considered switching to natural deodorant, it wasn't just about finding something that worked; I was also deeply curious about healthier, non-toxic options for my body. Many of us are looking for the 'best healthy deodorant' that aligns with a more conscious lifestyle, and for me, addressing my 'dark pits' was a huge bonus. I really wanted to know, 'is Saltair non toxic' and 'is Saltair deodorant natural' before diving in. My journey, as I shared, began with a detox, and trust me, that month was crucial for truly answering 'does Saltair deodorant work' for me. The detox process, inspired by traditional methods like using lime (thanks, Grandma!), really prepped my underarms. This phase is often overlooked but it's essential for helping your body adjust to a new type of product that isn't blocking sweat, but rather neutralizing odor. If you're pondering the switch, be patient during this period; it’s where your body recalibrates, and it’s totally normal to experience some temporary changes in odor or wetness. It's all part of the process towards finding a natural solution that truly offers 'odor protection up to 24hrs' like the Saltair stick promises. Speaking of Saltair, my experience with their different products was quite varied. The stick, particularly in scents like Santal Bloom and Pink Beach (they are truly my FAV scents!), was the STARRRR! It delivered on its promise to 'visibly improve underarm tone and texture,' and yes, 'my pits have drastically changed' for the better. This directly answers 'does Saltair deodorant lighten armpits' for me – a resounding yes! The texture was smooth, it didn't irritate, and it genuinely kept me feeling fresh. It definitely made me feel like 'Saltair is THAT GIRL.' However, my journey wasn't without its bumps. The roll-on serum, while intriguing, actually burned me a little and sadly caused some darkening again. This was a moment of doubt, making me think, 'is Saltair deodorant natural' enough if it could still cause irritation? It just goes to show that even within the same brand, individual products can react differently. So, when looking at 'Saltair serum deodorant reviews,' remember that personal experiences can vary widely. Beyond just the deodorant, I also tried their body wash and lotion. My 'Pink Beach Body Wash' experience was a bit mixed; 'like the smell but doesn't really do much,' as I needed 'more lather and more moisture.' But their lotion was fantastic – 'hydrating & the smell last a while,' perfect for layering scents. This connects to the idea of 'Saltair skincare deodorant,' highlighting that underarm care can be part of a broader body care routine. For anyone still on the fence about finding the 'best natural deodorant for smelly armpits' or just curious about making the switch: give your body time to adapt. Explore different formulations and ingredients. Some natural deodorants even incorporate gentle exfoliants like salicylic acid to help with skin clarity and odor, though that's not something I experienced directly with Saltair. What matters most is finding a product that feels good on your skin, is effective for your body, and aligns with your health goals. My Saltair stick became a staple, proving that a natural option can genuinely make a difference.
