Could this be automated?

When I feel like something could be automated, I ask AI before I keep doing it manually.

One example: meeting notes.

I use meeting notes in Notion to capture decisions, tasks, follow-ups, thoughts, and random ideas that come up during a call. But if I leave everything as messy notes, I forget what actually needs to happen next.

So I ask AI to help me turn the notes into structure:

tasks, owners, due dates, follow-ups, and possible automations.

It helps me stay organized without having to rebuild the system from scratch every time.

... Read moreFrom my personal experience, using AI to automate meeting note organization in Notion has been a game-changer for productivity. Initially, I struggled with sifting through unstructured notes, often forgetting key decisions or follow-up tasks. After adopting AI prompts to convert raw notes into actionable items, I noticed a huge improvement in clarity and task management. For example, after meetings, I simply feed the AI the rough notes. It efficiently categorizes the content into key decisions, owners assigned to tasks, due dates, and even flags unclear points that need further clarification. This process not only saves me time but also enhances team alignment because everyone knows their responsibilities and deadlines. Moreover, the AI helps identify potential automations or workflows that can be set up repeatedly, making it easy to scale the process for recurring meetings. Integrating these structured outputs back into Notion means I can keep everything centralized and accessible. It’s like having an assistant to manage follow-ups and reduce the cognitive load of tracking multiple projects. If you’re using Notion or similar tools, I highly recommend exploring AI tools for note automation. This combination streamlines your workflow, prevents task leakage, and empowers you to focus on actual execution instead of administrative overhead. The key is to keep the setup simple and ensure the AI output aligns with your team’s style to maximize adoption and effectiveness.
