Goodbye Lemon8🍋✨
after the recent merge with Tiktok accounts and Lemon8 accounts, there was no option in the update. I have both platforms, so I wasn’t upset about the news.
Then Lemon8 updates and asked to merge with tiktok. I accepted, there wasn’t another option anyway, and then i noticed my username changed to something that has nothing to do with me…
Lemon8 merged my account with some random tiktok!! To make it worse, they give me steps and options that either don’t work or are too late. Then they basically tell me it sucks to suck and even though some random person is connected to my account…there is nothing they can do.
It is ridiculous that they can forced everyone into an update that so many people didn’t want to begin with. They did not do any preventative maintenance set up for when there are inevitable issues with such a change and update. Their mistake costed me my Lemon8 account. I’m not using it while someone else is on it.
I’m not sure if I will move to a new account to start with MY account, but i’m upset so i’m leaving this one.
