Shake Shack lunch today… tried something different

🌭Got the hotdog bun + Common Man Coffee

I’ll be real, if you like sweet drinks, don’t get the coffee. It’s NOT sweet at all 😭

Hotdog bun was okay, nothing special but still can eat. This order… I wouldn’t repeat tbh. Stick to the safe items next time 🫠

BUT my friend ordered the caramelised onion burger and it was SO good!!

3/22 Edited to

... Read moreDuring my visit to Shake Shack, I decided to try a less typical item on the menu—the hotdog bun paired with a coffee from Common Man. While the coffee surprised me with its lack of sweetness, which might not please those with a sweet tooth, it was a bold choice that added a unique twist to my meal. The hotdog bun itself was decent, offering a simple taste experience—nothing particularly exciting but passable as a casual lunch option. However, this attempt at something different highlighted why some choices at Shake Shack remain popular; sometimes sticking to the classics is best. Interestingly, my friend’s order of the caramelised onion burger stole the show. The sweet, savory depth the caramelised onions added made the burger incredibly flavorful and memorable. This has convinced me to consider it for my next visit. If you're exploring Shake Shack's menu and want a dependable, delicious meal, I recommend trying the caramelised onion burger over experimenting with less established items like the hotdog bun. Pairing it with a drink that suits your taste—perhaps a different coffee or a shake—would enhance your lunch experience. Next time, I'll be sure to order the burger and skip the unsweetened coffee. It’s all about learning from experience and discovering the tastiest options on the menu—sometimes that means trying new things, and sometimes it means appreciating classics.
