They’ll say all the right things but walk in none of the right rhythms. Infatuation sounds like:
✨ “I’ve never met someone like you.”
✨ “You’re everything I’ve been praying for.”
✨ “God told me you’re mine.”
But when it comes time to actually love you well? To sacrifice, to lead, to commit? They ghost your growth.
Here are the red flags to watch for:
1️⃣ They know your favorite color but run from your calling.
They’ll date the surface but can’t handle your spiritual depth.
2️⃣ They rush connection but resist clarity.
Everything is fast but vague. No fruit just vibes.
3️⃣ They say God sent them but haven’t submitted to God themselves.
Don’t confuse churchy with Godly. They can say His name but if their life doesn’t exude Him it’s not really worth it.
4️⃣ They’re obsessed with how you make them feel, not who they’re called to become with you. Finding every way to avoid change.
5️⃣ They compliment your looks, but never cover your soul.
6️⃣ They love your prayers but don’t align with your purpose. They can be obsessed with the experience but not the responsibility of the role.
7️⃣ They want the promise but avoid the process.
It’s all butterflies but no building.
Just because it looks spiritual doesn’t mean it’s from the Spirit. Don’t be fooled by goosebumps and chemistry. Look for fruit. Look for covering. Look for character.
