Spring Festivities: Tulip Farm🌷

My friends and I went to Burnside Farms in Nokesville, VA for their Festival Of Spring to see the tulips, and it did not disappoint! We drove from Annapolis, MD, which was about a 2hr drive, but it was every bit worth it.

You have to buy your tickets in advance, and the tickets go QUICK, but it gives you entrance into the farm, as well as 5 free picks🌷 You can pick more for $1ea, and you can keep the bulbs for an additional $1, or get them cut at the end. We bought our tickets for Saturday, which ended up being a pretty cloudy day, but it didn’t ruin the experience one bit.

There are also a few food truck vendors, picnic tables, inflatable bounce pads, and a few fun little games. They allow you to bring your own picnic & water/drink!

When you exit you get your flowers wrapped and walk through a little area with jarred jams, pickles, and other souvenirs!

They also do Sunflowers for the summer.🌻

This was a super fun outside spring activity and I am so glad I was able to go before they closed for the season, if you are close & can get tickets I highly recommend going!💗
