Wearing loose, dark pajamas after application helps prevent stains on clothes and supports an undisturbed tanning process. Avoiding sweating during this time helps the tan develop without patchiness. One indispensable part of my tanning routine is sun protection. Wearing broad-spectrum SPF 50 mineral sunscreen, especially on areas like collarbones and shins that easily burn, ensures the tan fades safely and skin stays healthy. Lightweight body creams with gold undertones can subtly enhance your tan while moisturizing. Finally, staying well hydrated by drinking plenty of water supports your skin’s health, allowing your tan to fade evenly and beautifully over time. Combining exfoliation, moisturizing, careful self-tanner application, and diligent daily maintenance with SPF truly results in that coveted summer glow that looks natural and radiant.
