💭 Things I thought I’d have figured out by now

I thought by this stage of life I’d have all the answers.

The perfect career plan.

The perfect routine.

The perfect balance.

Instead, I’ve learned that most of us are figuring it out one day at a time.

Some days I feel confident and unstoppable. Other days I’m googling things, second-guessing decisions, and hoping I’m making the right moves.

But here’s what I do know:

✨ Growth doesn’t always look glamorous.

✨ Starting over isn’t failure.

✨ You don’t have to have everything figured out to keep moving forward.

So if you’re in a season of becoming, you’re not alone.

We’re all writing the story as we go.

6/6 Edited to

... Read moreAs someone who has faced many moments of doubt and uncertainty, I can relate deeply to the feeling that you should have your life completely figured out by a certain age. However, real growth is often messy and unstructured. From my own experience, I've learned that the pressure to have a perfect career plan, a flawless daily routine, and an ideal balance between work and life is unrealistic for most people. It's important to recognize that growth doesn’t always look glamorous. Some days can be filled with clarity and confidence, while others bring hesitation and self-questioning. I’ve found that regularly revisiting and adjusting goals is essential, rather than trying to rigidly stick to a fixed plan. Accepting that starting over isn’t a sign of failure but a natural part of life has also been empowering. Google searches and seeking advice can be tools for navigating uncertainty—these actions don’t imply weakness but curiosity and resilience. Many seasoned professionals I admire still question their choices and pivot when needed. This journey of figuring things out one day at a time is shared by many, making it a collective experience rather than an individual burden. Recognizing that we’re all writing our stories in real-time helps reduce feelings of isolation and encourages kindness towards ourselves. In summary, embracing uncertainty and progress without perfection allows us to live more authentically and with less pressure. You don’t have to have everything figured out right now; the path unfolds as you keep moving forward.
