Practicing slower mornings is something I’ve been wanting to do for awhile because it gets crazy with 2 toddlers. #toddlers #mom #momtok
As a mom managing two energetic toddlers, I've found that slowing down our morning routine truly transforms the entire day. Instead of rushing, I set realistic expectations and prioritize essential tasks, which helps reduce stress for both me and my kids. One approach that works well is preparing as much as possible the night before—laying out clothes, packing bags, and planning simple breakfast options. This reduces last-minute scrambling and allows for a gentler morning pace. During the morning, I try to include calming moments like soft music or quiet playtime, which encourages my toddlers to transition smoothly. It’s also important to remain flexible; accepting that some mornings will be challenging helps me respond with patience rather than frustration. By intentionally practicing slower mornings, I notice improved moods, better cooperation, and a more enjoyable start to our day. For moms overwhelmed by fast-paced routines, embracing this slower rhythm can make a big difference in household harmony and personal well-being.
