It's been my secret weapon for staying active and building strength, especially for achieving that #summerbod goal! If you're a beginner or just looking for a straightforward, effective workout plan, this is definitely for you. Why a 3-Day Full Body Split? I find this routine incredibly efficient because it allows me to hit all major muscle groups each week without overtraining. It’s an easy workout plan for beginners because it provides adequate recovery time between sessions, which is crucial for muscle growth and preventing burnout. Plus, it gives you flexibility if life gets busy! Here’s a breakdown of my full routine workout, featuring some of my favorite body workout names: Day 1: Legs & Glutes Power! This day is all about building a strong foundation and sculpting those lower body muscles. I focus on compound movements that work multiple muscles at once. Deadlift: A fantastic full-body exercise, especially for the glutes and hamstrings. Remember to keep your back straight and engage your core. Squat: The king of leg exercises! Whether it's goblet squats, barbell squats, or sumo squats, focus on depth and full range of motion. Hip Thrust: Excellent for glute activation and strength. Squeeze at the top! Step-up: This is a great unilateral exercise. If you're looking for a list of step exercises, this one is a must-do for building leg and glute strength, especially for isolating each side. Seated Calf Raise: Don't forget those calves for balanced leg development. Day 2: Back, Biceps & Abs Blast! Time to work on that upper body strength and core stability. Bent Over Row: Builds a strong back and helps with posture. Upright Row: Targets shoulders and traps effectively. Bicep Curl & Hammer Curl: Essential for building strong, defined biceps. Mix them up for different muscle fiber activation. Machine Crunch & Bicycle Crunch: These are my go-to’s for targeting the abs from different angles, giving you that strong core I always aim for. Day 3: Chest, Triceps & Shoulders Sculpt! This day focuses on pushing power and carving out a balanced upper physique. Bench Press: A classic for chest development. You can do it with dumbbells or a barbell. Chest Fly: Great for isolating the chest muscles and getting a good stretch. Triceps Extension & Cable Kickback: Key for building strong triceps, which make up a large part of your arm volume. Lateral Raise & Front Raise: Perfect for developing broader, well-rounded shoulders. My Secret Cardio Finisher: The 15-3-3 Treadmill Routine! After each of my lifting days, I finish off with my absolute favorite cardio – the 15-3-3. This means: 15 incline, 3 speed (mph), for 30 minutes on the treadmill. It's an incredible way to burn calories, improve endurance, and get your heart rate up without feeling like you're just endlessly running. It's low-impact but super effective, a great complement to the full routine workout. Making it Your Own: Tips for Beginners & Beyond Sets & Reps: For most of these exercises, I aim for 3-4 sets of 8-12 repetitions. If you're focusing on strength, you can try a 4x8 workout scheme. The key is to find a weight that challenges you by the last few reps while maintaining good form. Focus on Form: Especially when you're learning new body workout names, watch videos or ask a trainer to ensure your form is correct. This prevents injury and makes sure you're targeting the right muscles. Consider Circuit Training: Occasionally, I'll turn my ab routine or even some shoulder exercises into a circuit to boost intensity and save time. For example, doing Machine Crunch, Bicycle Crunch, and a plank back-to-back with minimal rest. Progressive Overload: To keep seeing results, gradually increase the weight, reps, or sets over time. Even small increases add up! Listen to Your Body: Rest days are just as important as workout days. Ensure you're fueling your body with good nutrition to support recovery and growth. I really hope this detailed easy workout plan for beginners helps you on your fitness journey! Give it a try for January and February, and let me know how it goes. Happy lifting!
