Do's and Don'ts for middle/high school!

From my own experience and what I've seen among peers, middle and high school can be challenging but also an exciting time to grow. One thing I've noticed is how crucial it is to surround yourself with genuinely supportive friends who respect you and others. Bullying isn't just mean; it creates an unhealthy environment, so stepping away from negative peer groups can make a huge difference. Managing homework is another big deal. I used to procrastinate a lot and ended up stressed out the night before. Setting aside a consistent time daily to focus on homework can prevent that last-minute panic. Playing instrumental music while studying can really help keep your mind sharp without distractions. Most importantly, middle and high school are about discovering who you are. It might be tempting to change yourself to fit in, but staying true to your values, style, and feelings ultimately attracts the right kind of friends. Every school has a diverse group of people, and you’ll find those who appreciate you for being you. Remember, self-acceptance is key during these formative years, and it builds a strong foundation for your future.
