... Read moreHey y'all! I've been seeing so many amazing phone layouts lately, and I just had to share how I created my dream western phone layout. If you're anything like me and love that rustic, country vibe, then getting your phone to match your aesthetic is a must! It’s not just about pretty pictures; it’s about making your everyday tech feel more *you*. I know finding the best phone layout can be a journey, so I wanted to share my tips and tricks for getting those perfect western-themed widgets and app icons. First off, let's talk about where to even find these amazing elements. For country widgets, I swear by apps like Widgetsmith or Photo Widget. They let you customize photos as widgets, which is perfect for bringing in unique western widget pictures. I spent a good amount of time on Pinterest searching for "vintage cowboy art," "desert landscapes," or "rustic western aesthetic" to find the perfect images. Think images of a lone horse grazing, a detailed saddle, or even cute cacti silhouettes. For app icons, you can often find ready-made western app icons packs online, or if you're feeling crafty, you can download individual images and use an app like Shortcuts (on iOS) to customize each icon. I found some adorable cowgirl drawing and buffalo graphics that instantly transformed my basic app icons into something special. When I was planning my lock screen, I really wanted to set the tone. I went for a sepia-toned image of a person on a horse, similar to what you see on my actual phone! Adding a fun skeleton cowboy icon next to my weather widget gives it that extra touch of quirky western charm. For the home screen, it’s all about mixing and matching. I love having large photo widgets of rustic scenes, like old wooden barns or a pair of classic boots. Then, I pepper in smaller utility widgets. Imagine a weather widget with a desert background or a calendar widget featuring a little dog in a cowboy hat! It’s these small details that truly bring the "country widgets" theme to life. Don't forget about your actual app icons! While some apps let you change their icons directly, for others, you'll need a workaround. I customized my TikTok, Instagram, and Spotify icons to have a consistent earthy tone or a subtle western graphic. It makes everything look so much more cohesive. The trick is to pick a color palette – I went for warm browns, deep reds, and dusty blues – and stick to it. This makes sure your entire phone layout feels intentional and not just a random collection of images. Honestly, the best part about creating my western phone layout was how much fun it was to personalize everything. It feels like a little piece of home in my pocket! I hope my experience gives you some great ideas for your own phone customization. Share your creations if you make one – I'd love to see them! Happy customizing!

I like it but I don’t like the fact that I can’t add notification badges to them cause I’m not always around my phone and don’t hear my text tone so if I don’t have a badge I’d end up ignoring messages all day
