the best ways to habit stack 📚
1. while youre walking !!! 🚶🏼♀️
- edit — i find editing everything for social media to be overwhelming and draining while sitting at home. instead while im walking, my creative juices are flowing and i can get in some extra steps !
- listen to a podcast — get your brain turning !! whether its an educational, inspiration, or just entertaining podcast, theres no better time for some audio entertainment !
- phone calls — i love going on walks JUST to call a friend or listen to unread voice notes. there never seems to be a good time to check in on someone while im working, so going on walk provides time for both movement and talking !
- clean through your photos — you never “have the time” to do a sweep of all your photos. BUTTTT you could listen to a podcast, walk, and scroll through your phone all the same time.. so no better opportunity !
2. while youre cooking !! 👩🏼🍳
- meal prep — if you’re already cooking a chicken breast, why not just prepare another one for lunch tomorrow ! you’re already in the kitchen, already have all your ingredients out, and are already in the cooking mode !
- listen to a podcast — if you’re busy working throughout the day, why not have a background entertainment that is either educational, inspiration, or just entertaining !
- put away dishes — the chore NO ONE likes doing !! you have food cooking on the stove, you’re in the kitchen already, clean out the dishwasher, put dishes away that are in the drying rack or sink !! make it as easy as possible for yourself !!
- watch tv — i personally cannot just sit down and watch tv… there is far too much going on in my life and i get too antsy just sitting still. but i LOVE using tv as background for when im making my meals !
