bikini competition update !!
full vid on tiktok and ig 💓
i’m now in my second week of this new meal plan 🙃 (a little behind on posting these vids, but here we are !) and it’s been going really well !! the first couple of days this week were interesting — i followed my “high” day plan on monday and tuesday (the first time in a week) and honestly, it felt like so much food… almost too much. i was super full all day and felt pretty lethargic, so i’m excited to be on my “low” day meals for the rest of the week
i was worried i wouldn’t have enough energy, but so far, i’m feeling great ! the main difference i’ve noticed is in the gym — i can definitely feel the shift in my ability to go super hard, but even still, i’m pushing myself, increasing weights, and hitting new reps for some exercises
this journey has been such a unique and fun experience ! i’m loving every moment of it — especially all the little changes week by week. can’t wait to see where the next 9.5 weeks take me !! 🤭👙✨

Many people ask, 'What exactly is a bikini competition?' From my perspective as a competitor, it's far more than just stepping on stage in a sparkly suit. It's a journey of intense dedication to transforming your physique, focusing on muscle development, symmetry, and overall conditioning, all while maintaining a healthy, aesthetic look. The judging criteria often look at balanced muscle development, stage presence, and confidence. It's about presenting the best version of yourself through months of strict training and diet. It truly is a unique challenge that tests both physical and mental strength. My training sessions have become the core of my day. When it comes to bikini workouts and weight lifting, I'm constantly pushing to increase my weight and increase my reps, even when my body feels exhausted. My coach and I regularly review my progress during my check-ins, leading to crucial changes moving forward, just like the new meal plans. My high day involves consuming the most carbs, protein, and fat to fuel those heavy lifting sessions, while my low day really cuts down those macronutrients to aid in leaning out. Managing energy levels during these shifts is a constant learning curve. There are days at the gym that feel super hard and super challenging, especially with the increased cardio – now 50 minutes a day, five times a week, versus the initial 35. It's true what they say: the less you eat, the more you exert, and it really does add up. Sometimes, you just have to accept that your body physically can't do what it did yesterday, but still push through what you can. This whole process, from the detailed meal plans my coach sets for me to the rigorous gym routines, continues to get harder each week. There are definitely days where I'm like, 'I do not want to walk an extra 1000 steps right now,' but then I have to just keep going back to why I'm doing it. That internal motivation and discipline are what really ground me and keep me focused. It’s not just about lifting weights or hitting macros; it’s about the mental fortitude to stay consistent. Every small change, every new personal best in the gym, and every successful week on the meal plan adds up to the bigger picture. I love the whole journey so much, even with its tough moments, because it’s teaching me so much about my body's capabilities and my own resilience. For anyone considering a fitness journey like this, remember that consistency is key, but so is listening to your body. Having a good coach is invaluable for guiding those precise dietary adjustments and ensuring your workouts are effective and safe. It's a marathon, not a sprint, and celebrating the mini-victories along the way makes the entire experience even more rewarding. I'm excited to see what the next few weeks bring!
