but what ?
i reeeeeally want to change BUT…
but what ?
there will always be a reason. there will always be a “when life slows down” or “after this weekend” or “once i feel more ready.” the truth is, life doesn’t slow down. ever. it just shifts into new chapters. new chaos. new distractions
it took me forever to admit i needed help… why ?
because i thought:
“i’m already a fitness girl”
“people tell me i’m skinny”
“i should be able to do this on my own”
“if i just workout more or eat less, i’ll get there”
“i’ll take it seriously when i’m smaller”
“everyone already comes to me for advice”
i could go on forever…
but the truth was that i was stuck in the same cycle over and over again. and no matter how much i knew… i wasn’t actually changing
yea sure, mayyyyybe i could’ve figured it out on my own eventually. but if someone had told me earlier how life changing having a coach would be, me and @lexx_caces could’ve crossed paths years ago 😭🤞🏼
the accountability. the mindset shifts. the structure. the support. the ability to trust someone more educated than me to guide me, challenge me, call me out, and TEACH me
the food fears. the negative self talk. the all or nothing mindset. i had to unlearn so much before i could ever step into the version of me i wanted to be
and yea… deciding to compete was lowkey impulsive lolll 🤭 i signed a 6 month contract within 5 days of even considering competing. the second i signed it, things changed. my meals changed. my focus shifted. i was finally taking action !!
i wanted change SO bad for SO long. but it didn’t happen until i finally got honest with myself and admitted i needed help. and when i finally took action, change happened !!
action fuels change — so if not now… when ?

Many individuals struggle with wanting to change but feel held back by internal doubts and external distractions. Phrases such as “I’ll start after,” "when life slows down," or “once I feel ready” reflect common procrastination patterns that prevent growth. The reality is life continually shifts through new chapters and challenges; waiting for the perfect moment usually means waiting indefinitely. A crucial step towards real change often involves acknowledging help is needed, especially in areas like fitness and personal development. Despite being perceived as "already fit" or "skinny," many people remain stuck in cycles of limited progress because they rely solely on their own knowledge or motivation. Professional coaching introduces accountability, structure, and expert guidance that facilitate mindset shifts necessary to overcome barriers such as negative self-talk, food fears, and black-and-white thinking. Accountability partners and coaches help individuals build sustainable habits by challenging limiting beliefs and teaching new perspectives. This support system does not just focus on physical change but also mental and emotional growth that fosters resilience against stress and distraction. A key driver of progress is action—deliberate steps toward goals inspire momentum that breaks inertia. Signing up for commitments like fitness competitions or coaching programs can be transformative because they prompt immediate behavioral and focus changes. Individuals are encouraged to stop waiting for the ‘right time’ and instead trust that imperfect action today fuels tomorrow’s transformation. Embracing imperfection and seeking help when needed can accelerate change dramatically.
