if you want to lose body fat…

if you want to lose body fat, stop acting like you have to eat “perfect” 24/7 !!!!

you can absolutely eat the foods you love. the difference isn’t WHAT you eat. it’s how OFTEN you eat them and what makes up the majority of your diet !!!

here’s a simple way to think about it:

✨ prioritize daily:

protein, fruit, potatoes, rice, healthy fats, greek yogurt, eggs… ultimately whole foods !!!

🍕 make room for weekly:

pizza, burgers, sushi, pasta, tacos, ice cream, your favorite starbucks drink.

🍩 save for occasional treats:

cookies, cake, wings, loaded fries, milkshakes, candy…

the goal isn’t to eliminate foods you enjoy ever !!!

it’s to build most of your meals around foods that keep you full, help you hit your protein goal, and make staying in a calorie deficit easier 🏄🏼‍♀️

because fat loss doesn’t just come from eating “clean.” it comes from being consistent 💪🏼

Prioritizing whole foods like protein, fruits, healthy fats, and complex carbs daily helps keep me full and energized. This way, I meet my protein goals and maintain a calorie deficit, which is essential for fat loss. Importantly, allowing myself to enjoy favorite foods like pizza or ice cream weekly makes the process enjoyable and sustainable. When you don’t restrict and label foods as "good" or "bad," it reduces the temptation to binge later on. Treats deserve their place too but should be saved for occasional indulgences. This kind of balance helped me break free from the cycle of binge and restrict. I also found meal planning helpful—filling the majority of meals with nutrient-dense foods ensures consistency without feeling deprived. For example, starting the day with Greek yogurt and fruit or eggs paired with potatoes or rice sets a satisfying tone for the day. Hydration and sleep quality further support fat loss by improving overall metabolism and energy. Remember, fat loss isn’t just about eating "clean"; it’s about making sustainable lifestyle changes that you can maintain long term. Embracing flexibility while focusing on nutrient-rich daily choices really changed my mindset and results. Being consistent and realistic with your diet is empowering—and it’s how real, lasting fat loss happens.
