ELDEN RING CO-OP GAMEPLAY WITH SUBS& followers
There's nothing quite like adventuring through the Lands Between with a fellow Tarnished by your side. Elden Ring co-op gameplay transforms the challenging solo journey into a shared epic, and honestly, it's one of my favorite ways to experience the game, especially when playing with friends or followers! If you're new to co-op or just looking for some tips, here's how I usually get started and make the most of our sessions. First, you'll need a few key items. To summon others, you'll use a Furlcalling Finger Remedy. These are crafted from two Erdleaf Flowers or dropped by invaders. Once activated, you'll see golden summon signs laid down by other players. To offer your assistance, you'll use the Tarnished's Furled Finger to place your own sign. I always make sure we're using a multiplayer password in the system menu; this ensures only our designated group can connect, which is super helpful for coordinating specific boss fights or exploration. Elden Ring co-op isn't just about making the game easier; it's about strategy and shared experiences. I've found that communication is key. Whether it's through voice chat or using in-game gestures, knowing if someone needs to heal, is drawing aggro, or is about to unleash a powerful spell can turn a chaotic encounter into a perfectly executed dance. We often discuss our builds beforehand too. Having a dedicated melee tank and a ranged spellcaster, for instance, can make certain boss fights much more manageable. There's a real joy in seeing that 'LEGEND FELLED' message pop up after a particularly grueling boss, knowing you achieved it together after countless 'GAME OYER' moments. One common challenge in co-op is dealing with invaders. When you're playing with a summoned ally, you open yourself up to player versus player invasions. While some find this frustrating, I actually enjoy the added layer of unpredictability it brings. It forces us to adapt our strategies on the fly and often leads to some hilarious, nail-biting skirmishes before we can get back to the main objective. The feeling of overcoming both a challenging boss and a skilled invader is incredibly rewarding. With the upcoming Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, I'm even more excited for new co-op opportunities. Imagine exploring those new, mysterious areas and facing new, formidable threats alongside your companions. The thought of tackling brand new bosses and discovering secrets in a fresh environment, all while sharing the triumphs and funny mishaps with my crew, is what makes Elden Ring co-op truly special for me. It's not just about beating the game; it's about sharing the journey and creating unforgettable memories together in the Lands Between.
