What you should be doing instead:

→ Cleanse before you board

→ Stick to your normal routine as closely as possible

→ If you do break out mid-trip, a plain yogurt mask can work wonders to calm things down

→ And please, sleep. Beauty sleep is backed by science for a reason.

The more consistent you are with your routine, the better your skin will handle the change in environment.

Upon landing, cleansing again—preferably in the airport restroom rather than on the plane—removes accumulated impurities, reducing chances of clogged pores.
