🙏 Prayer: Becoming an Imitator of Christ
Heavenly Father,
I thank You for calling me to walk in the footsteps of Jesus Christ. Your Word says in Ephesians 5:1, “Be imitators of God, as beloved children.” Today, I humbly surrender myself to be molded into the image of Your Son.
Lord, teach me to walk in love as Christ loved us and gave Himself for us—a living sacrifice. Remove from me anything that does not reflect Your nature: pride, selfishness, fear, and doubt. Fill me with Your Spirit so I may walk in truth, righteousness, and humility.
Let my life be a testimony, not of perfection, but of transformation. Just as Paul said, “Follow me as I follow Christ,” let me live in such a way that others are drawn not to me, but to You.
Help me imitate Your patience, Your mercy, Your holiness, and Your forgiveness. Make me a vessel of grace and truth in a world that desperately needs Your light.
Strengthen me daily, Lord, that I may not only be a hearer of the Word, but a doer. Let my actions, my speech, and my thoughts bring You glory.
I commit today to follow Christ—not just in belief but in behavior. May Your name be magnified through my life.
