Hobbies to do with friends!
In my last post I talked about hobbies you could do at home by yourself. Check those out if you haven’t already! Today I’m showing you some hobby ideas on my bucket list that I think would be so fun to do with a group of friends or family. I think doing things as a group always makes for such an amazing bonding experience and creates memories that you’ll never forget. This is a great way to ditch the clubs and do something more productive, mentally healthy, and memory filled.
What do you and your friends like to do for fun?
Okay, so we all know how amazing it is to just chill with friends, but sometimes you want to do more than just dinner and a movie, right? I've been on a mission to find super fun and creative ways to spend time with my favorite people, and let me tell you, it's been a game-changer for our friendships! It’s all about creating those unique memories that you'll look back on and smile. One of my absolute favorites has to be Thrifting! It's not just shopping; it's a treasure hunt. My friends and I love setting a little challenge, like 'find an entire outfit for a themed party for under $30.' We spend hours laughing, trying on the wildest things, and celebrating each other's unique finds. Plus, it’s a fantastic way to be sustainable and give clothes a second life. Every trip is an adventure! Have you ever tried a group class? Seriously, it's the best. We recently did a Pottery Class, and let me tell you, my 'masterpiece' looked more like a lopsided bowl, but the laughs we shared trying to get the wheel to cooperate were priceless! Cooking Classes are another hit – imagine learning to make pasta from scratch with your besties, then getting to eat your delicious creations together. Mixology Classes? Even better for a fun night out, learning to shake up some fancy drinks. And if you're feeling energetic, Dance Classes are such a blast – even if you have two left feet like me, it's incredible for boosting confidence and just letting loose together. These are truly creative hobby aesthetics that lead to so much joy. For my nature-loving crew, Hiking is non-negotiable. We've discovered so many hidden trails right in our area by just searching online for local hiking groups or using apps like AllTrails. It's amazing how much deeper your conversations get when you're surrounded by nature, breathing in fresh air. It also ticks that 'e-hobbies to connect with fellow hikers' box – sometimes we even share our routes and tips in a group chat before we meet up, making it an ongoing adventure that keeps us connected even between hikes! If you're looking for something a bit more chill but still super engaging, a Book Club or Journal Club is fantastic. My journal club has become this wonderful, safe space where we share our thoughts and reflections, and it's built such a unique level of trust and understanding among us. It's truly a creative hobby aesthetic that nourishes your mind and soul, offering a different kind of bonding. Beyond these, don't forget about classic board game nights (we get seriously competitive!), visiting local farmers' markets or art fairs, or even volunteering together for a cause you all care about. The key is finding activities that resonate with everyone and make you all feel more connected. What are you waiting for?
