🥤Although I will always preach “don’t waste calories on drinks!” I also am a firm believer in not depriving myself of things I enjoy. So a nice fizzy @culturePOPsoda every few weeks doesn’t hurt 😌

🙂I loveee the versatility of quinoa. It can go on salads, as a side or mixed in with veggies and protein. Plus fiberrrr.

🍚 Yesss, we know. Carbs aren’t great but basmati rice has a low glycemic index and serves as a good choice for enjoying rice while managing blood sugar levels.

🥗 I’m obsessed with G Hughes brand anything and you’ll never have to worry about added sugar

🍓In the morning, I’m in a rush. Buying frozen fruit already chopped and ready to go into my smoothie is a life saver.

🍭 I told yall we’re not depriving ourselves of things we love right? Ice pops one of those for me. Although there’s a bunch in the box by time a few days go by, my kid and my man have already eaten most of them so it helps with the self control 😂

🥜I like to make “adult lunchables”. It’s basically just using a sectioned glass container and throwing fruit, almonds, cheese and a protein in it and calling it lunch.

🧀 Which brings us to another lunchables ingredient. I always get reduced fat just to cut down on the extra junk.

I try to eat 100g+ of protein a day and these are some of my fav things that make that easy!! I also try to follow a 1:10 ratio of protein:cals as much as I can! So if something has 200 cals, it should have at least 20g protein. Another way to check is to drop the last number from the calories a
