first time drawing in forever!
i used to draw all the time, but during 2022 my mental health started getting worse. what i once enjoyed and used when times got tough, started to lose motivation and lost interest for art.

art will always have a place in my heart, and i decided to try at least drawing something. i decided to try doodling some guinea pigs since i have been obsessed with them for awhile now. i know it's not super amazing, but it's a first step in trying to get back to doing what i loved and i wanted to share for those that may be going through something similar.
Drawing can be a powerful therapeutic outlet, especially when coping with mental health challenges. Many artists experience periods of creative block or lack of motivation, often influenced by personal circumstances, stress, or emotional turmoil. Research shows that engaging in artistic activities can help improve mood, reduce anxiety, and enhance overall well-being. As you embark on your artistic journey, consider setting small, achievable goals. Instead of aiming for perfection, focus on enjoyment and self-expression. Sharing your creations with others can also foster a sense of community and encourage mutual support. Online platforms and local art groups can offer valuable feedback and inspiration. Remember, every artist's journey is unique. Celebrate every step, no matter how small, as a victory toward rekindling your passion for art. If you’re keen to dive deeper into the world of art as a form of self-care, explore various mediums—from painting to sketching—and find what resonates with you. Embrace your individuality, and allow your emotions to guide your creativity. Whether it’s doodling or creating detailed pieces, each expression is a step forward in your artistic growth.

Literally so cute 🥰
