Cosy Autumn Reads

In this instalment of autumn book recommendations, I am focusing on cosy book!

Originally, I was going to just dump my top autumn book recommendations on here, but at around 20 books in, I realised I could categorise my books into several different themes - such as cosy, whimsical, horror, mystery - and it made more sense to split my carousels into several posts.

This initial carouse focuses on cosy autumn/ fall books. They are easy to read, often magical, tend to include beverages, beats, or both, and will warm your soul on a rainy autumn day.

My favourite from this list, if I had to chose, is Sangu Madanna’s The Very Secret Society Of Irregular witches, which is a found family witchy romance following a witch who moves into a house in the woods to train three young witching’s to harness their powers. It’s incredibly wholesome and has a very handsome librarian MMC, to boot!

I have also included a few middle grade and kids books in here. I just feel like nothing says autumnal goodness than some childlike wonder. If you have ever wondered about middle-grade and whether you’d like it, I implore you to pick up one of the books on this list, which I have read as an adult and can confirm they hold their own against many YA and Adult books too.
