Cheesy garlic, chicken wraps
Ingredients:
2 large chicken breasts, diced
1 tbsp olive oil
2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp paprika
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
4 large flour tortillas
1/2 cup creamy garlic sauce (store-bought or homemade)
Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Method:
1. Season the chicken:
Start by seasoning your diced chicken. In a large bowl, combine the chicken with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss everything together until the chicken is evenly coated with the flavorful spices.
2. Cook the chicken:
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add the seasoned chicken to the pan and cook for 6-8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is fully cooked and has a nice golden brown color. Once cooked, remove the chicken from the heat and set it aside.
3. Assemble the wraps:
Now it's time to put it all together. Lay out the flour tortillas and spread a spoonful of creamy garlic sauce on each one. This sauce adds a delicious layer of flavor that complements the chicken perfectly. Next, add the cooked chicken to each tortilla and top with a generous handful of shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses.
4. Melt the cheese:
Fold the tortillas over the filling, creating a nice, snug wrap. Place the wraps back in the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side. This step melts the cheese and gives the tortillas a beautiful golden-brown finish.
5. Serve and enjoy:
Slice the wraps in half for easy eating and, if you like, garnish with a sprinkle of fresh parsley. Serve them hot, and enjoy the cheesy, garlicky goodness in every bite!
