✨ COMING THIS APRIL SCARS AND SCRIBES ✨

The debut poetry book by Danum Skald will be released this April!

My sincere review:

It was an honor to read Scars & Scribes.

As a veteran myself, I can see the author pulling back the curtain of war. So the reader can peer inside the mindset of the soldier.

What anxious thoughts run through one’s mind during battle. How does a soldier reconcile his scars after war?

Where does the veteran find peace when the guns go silent?

The author weaved words of war into poetry. Giving us a glimpse of what few see with thoughtfully written poems forged in battle while searching for peace.

Freida McFadden books are definitely hit or miss for me. Unfortunately this one was a miss 👎🏼 However I really enjoyed the first two books in this Housemaid trilogy. I will say this was a quick, and easy read, I just wasn’t that into the storyline or desperate to find out how it was going to end. L
