📌Thai’ alphabets you need to know!

The first thing you need to know about the Thai language is...the Thai Alphabet.

✨️The Thai alphabet consists of 44 letters divided into 2 groups:

1. Beginning Consonants: These are alphabet sounds that appear before vowels.

2. Final Consonants: These are alphabet sounds that appear after vowels. There are 9 sounds: /k/, /t/, /p/, /n/, /m/, /y/, /w/, and /ng/. Additionally, there is a special final consonant called "mâe gor gaa," which uses /a/ as a symbol.

📌*Note: "ผ/ph/ ฝ/f/ ฉ/ch/ ฌ/ch/ ห/h/ อ/a/ ฮ/h/" is not used as final consonants.
