Oogie BOOGIE flexi
As someone who enjoys blending technology with traditional crafts, I found the concept of creating a flexible Oogie Boogie figure using 3D printing incredibly fun and rewarding. The key to making the figure flexible lies in choosing the right materials and print settings. Using a flexible filament such as TPU allows the figure to bend and move without breaking, which adds a playful, tactile dimension to your finished piece. Starting with a 3D model, you can customize Oogie Boogie’s iconic sack-like texture by adjusting the infill and layer height to balance flexibility and durability. Printing at a lower nozzle temperature helps maintain shape integrity while preserving the flexibility of the filament. After printing, I decorated my Oogie Boogie with hand-painted details to bring out the character’s personality and spooky charm. This step gave the figure a unique, handmade feel that complements the precision of 3D printing. Adding fabric elements or LED lights can further enhance your craft and create a fantastic Halloween display. For those new to 3D printing, this project is a great introduction to working with flexible materials and combining digital design with hands-on creativity. Whether you’re a fan of crafts, Halloween characters, or innovative 3D printing, making your own flexible Oogie Boogie is a rewarding experience that doubles as a fun decoration or gift.
