Confronting Fear at Pax West 2025: Pyramid Head

I was absolutely blown away by the gruesome detail this cosplayer brought to life at Pax West this year! It was such a unique experience working with them because they had a very specific vision for these portraits. Instead of going for a sensationalized look, they wanted to emphasize the pure sense of threat and danger that this character poses when encountered in the wild.

The commitment to the horror aesthetic is truly next level, from the weathered texture of the helmet to the realistic grime on the outfit. Capturing that intimidating presence was a highlight of my time at the convention. It is rare to see a classic horror icon portrayed with such a focus on raw intensity and terrifying authenticity!
