my camp counselor experience

I’ve been a theatre camp counselor for two summers now!

The feeling of making kids dreams come true and seeing them grow into their confidence onstage is something I will cherish forever.

I have loved my time as a camp counselor.

Although it is always stressful attempting to put a show together in two weeks with 30+ children, the smiles on their faces make it worth it.

I’ve seen the shyest of kids grow into loud, energetic, and confident performers.

I’ve seen best friendships form.

I’ve seen lessons learned and talents honed.

I love getting to work with the kids and getting to practice my own passion of set design and construction at the same time!

Despite the stress, the long hours, and of course the constant drink and food spills, it’s been some of the best times of my life and I wouldn’t change it for a thing :)
