Follicular Phase Meals 🌸

A few highlights of meals I had during my time in follicular 😌

I tend to hyper focus in this phase and it’s hard for me to remember to eat, but having delicious but light meals like these tend to work well for me.

In case that would work for you too I will be adding recipes to the site throughout this week so be sure to check for more cycle syncing recipes at harmoniouselevations.com 🫶🏾

... Read moreDuring the follicular phase of the menstrual cycle, the body undergoes hormonal changes that boost energy levels and mental clarity. I’ve noticed that during this period, I tend to be more focused and active, which sometimes makes me forget to eat. Choosing meals that are light yet satisfying works best for me to maintain my energy without feeling weighed down. I usually opt for meals rich in fresh vegetables, lean proteins, and whole grains. For example, a quinoa salad with mixed greens, chickpeas, cucumber, and a lemon-tahini dressing is a refreshing and nourishing choice. Smoothie bowls with berries, spinach, and a protein source like Greek yogurt or plant-based protein powder also keep me energized and satiated. One tip I’ve found helpful is prepping meals ahead of time during this phase, so I have easy-to-grab options when my focus pulls me away from the kitchen. Staying hydrated with herbal teas or infused water can also improve concentration and overall wellness. Incorporating cycle syncing into meal planning has enhanced my well-being. By tuning into my body's needs during the follicular phase, I avoid feeling sluggish and support my natural rhythm. If you find it hard to eat regularly in this phase, try experimenting with smaller, nutrient-dense meals and light snacks that align with your tastes. I’m excited to share that I'll be adding more recipes tailored for each menstrual phase soon, helping you explore delicious, cycle-friendly meals that nourish your body and mind. Check out harmoniouselevations.com for upcoming cycle syncing meal ideas and tips to enhance your wellness journey.
