These resources provide valuable insights to help you recognize red flags and negotiate better terms. I’ve witnessed many peers improve their shipping outcomes after investing time to build their logistics know-how, which results in fewer surprises and better partnerships. Lastly, communication is key: provide your freight forwarder with complete cargo specs and shipment details. Vague inquiries like "How much to the US?" don’t help and can delay accurate quotes or services. Being transparent and informed empowers you to manage your shipments confidently and hold freight forwarders accountable. In sum, the only reliable asset you have in global shipping is your own expertise.
