... Read moreLosing weight after pregnancy can be a challenging journey, especially when dealing with complications like thyroid issues and low energy levels. I experienced this firsthand, starting my transformation after my first pregnancy when I was overweight and struggled to shed those extra kilos. After losing 10kg over two months, my confidence grew, but the journey was far from over. Following my second pregnancy, when I weighed around 90kg and was a fully breastfeeding mum with high thyroid levels, I faced even tougher hurdles. Low energy made workouts harder, and I struggled with the common concern many mothers have: sagging skin after childbirth. However, through consistent effort, balanced nutrition, and paying attention to my body's needs, I was able to lose 23kg. This was not just about numbers on a scale but about feeling good from the inside out. A significant part of my success was setting realistic goals and embracing self-care. I made sure to stay hydrated, eat wholesome foods, and incorporate gentle yet effective exercises suitable for postpartum recovery. Also, wearing clothes like my 'vivah' (wedding) suit again was an emotional milestone that reminded me age or motherhood doesn’t define our limits. If you’re a mom dealing with weight loss and thyroid conditions, remember that every body is unique and results may vary. It’s important to prioritize health over speed, listen to your body, and seek support when needed. Remember, transforming yourself post-pregnancy is a journey of patience and persistence, and feeling confident in your own skin is the best reward.
