Then, it's coffee, a quick check of my route and weather conditions, and I'm ready to roll. The cab of my truck becomes my office, my kitchen, and sometimes even my bedroom. I try to stick to a schedule, driving my allotted hours, taking mandatory breaks, and finding safe places to park for the night. Each day brings new landscapes, new challenges, and a constant need for focus and resilience. One of the biggest questions I get is, 'What's it like for women truck drivers?' It’s empowering, no doubt. There’s a certain freedom you feel, being in command of such a powerful machine and seeing parts of the country you’d never otherwise experience.
