How do you use sauces in your meals?

To dip or not to dip that is the question. Now for a simple quesadilla dip take the hot sauce you like to use and add a few spoonfuls to some sour cream. For this instance I used these two sauces and it made a nice Chipotle flavor. Not too spicy. If you want to try to make a home made hotsauce you'll need peppers, onions, jalapeño, and a few other things. But the process is fairly simple. Roast your ingredients, blend them together, and strain if you want a non chunky sauce. Orange chicken sauce is fairly easy too its mainly orange juice, cornstarch, and sugar. Ill do a separate post for the full process and ingredients but at its core its a pretty simple process. Lastly gravy as a sauce??? Oh yes Gravy has to be the ultimate sauce for a meal. Homemade gravy can be made with flour, butter, and meat drippings. Now take your time making gravy it can be messed up pretty easily, but a good saucy gravy will be packed with flavor.

Watching the sauce thicken and flavor deepen is so rewarding. In all, sauces add excitement and personalization to meals. Whether you’re dipping, drizzling, or simmering, experimenting with different ingredients and techniques will help you discover your favorite flavor combinations. Don’t hesitate to try making your own sauces from scratch—it’s easier than you think and far more rewarding than store-bought options.
